About

Paroiu Tudor

Founder

I was born in the summer of the year 1952 on July 17th somewhere in the most southern part of the land called Romania, near the city Zimnicea (the former stronghold Zimidava, during Decebal’s time) in the township called Nasturelu.

All of these were in the district Zimnicea, the region of Bucharest, the current city Zimnicea, Teleorman County. I spent my first years here, the years before school, after which I went to primary school and high school in Zimnicea. I was a relatively meek child but a child who liked to read as much as he liked to play games, a reason for which I was the first one in my classroom as they used to call me, I was the first at any school activity but also at all the childhood frolics (swimming, fishing, I have practiced many sports but especially chess and ping-pong). I was a permanent attendant at mathematics, Romanian and physics competitions. In 1966 I left for Bucharest where I finished the Faculty of Mechanics within the Bucharest Polytechnic Institute.

Afterwards I was assigned to Combinatul Chimic in Iesalnita where I promoted from intern to chief of compartiment, and I specialised in nondestructive (Gama, ultrasounds etc.) still at IP Bucharest. In 1986, when I was already chief of control compartiment, I was transferred within the same copariment at ACMRIC Craiova. In 1987 I became adjunct chief of brigade on the Drobeta Turnu Severin site and in 1988 I promoted to chief of brigade in the same place whre I remained until 1992 when I went private in Drobeta Turnu Severin until 1999 then in Craiova until 2009. In 2009, June , I made contact with a virus that attacked the connections between my nerves and muscles, thus being closer to the world of non beings. Poliradiculonevrită.

First degree handicapped who couldn’t move a muscle. Now, after three years I can walk supported by crutches and I hope that in a few years I can get back to normal, the medics being optimistic just as I am. All my life I have been a true optimist even if I am amongst the few who define inexistence as being much closer to reality.

“This is a reminder that within each of us lies the potential to shape the world in ways we can barely imagine.”
